"Alley of Glowing Pumpkins"

On October 21–22, from 10:00 to 18:00, a pumpkin-carving workshop will take place at the Pakuonis Leisure Hall.
From October 23 to 26, an "Avenue of Glowing Pumpkins"—featuring displays created by local streets, villages, and institutions—will be on exhibit along the path near the Pakuonis branch of the Užnemunė Basic School (Prienai District), stretching from Sodų Street toward the school.
We invite communities from the streets and villages of Pakuonis, as well as local institutions, to participate by creating their own glowing pumpkin displays. The avenue can be visited either during the day or after dark.
We will be selecting the most beautiful pumpkin and the best overall display.
