Vytautas V. Landsbergis' documentary "Zitai"

On October 29 at 12:30 PM, the Stakliškės Culture and Leisure Centre will host a screening of Vytautas V. Landsbergis’s documentary film *Zita*. The film is a journey back to the Lithuania of the 1980s and 1990s, a time when the revival of folk song became a silent weapon and a crucial part of the path to independence. Through the use of previously unseen archival footage and the voice of Zita Kelmickaitė herself, the film reveals not only the phenomenon of her personality but also the story of an entire generation that nurtured its national identity.
