An evening of archaic folk songs, sutartinės and poetry "Upinės"

On November 8 at 5:00 PM, the Skriaudžiai Leisure Hall will host "Upinės"—an evening of archaic folk songs, *sutartinės* (polyphonic folk songs), and poetry.
Skriaudžiai is the Small Capital of Lithuanian Culture for 2026.
"Upinės" is a collaborative project by creators Justina Smieliauskaitė, Aldona Vilutytė, and Laurita Peleniūtė, weaving together ancient folk songs, *sutartinės*, traditional melodies, and verses by Lithuanian female poets.
The event is free of charge. The project is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
